"I first met Marty with Idaho Wrecker Sales at the Western States Tow Show of 2010 in Reno, NV. The truck they built for the show was beyond words could explain, I knew from that moment the quality of work Idaho Wrecker Sales performed was excellent. In December of 2010 I contacted Marty, who I had not seen or spoken to since the show and he remembered me right away, my initial impression was “wow that’s amazing!!!” after all how many people do they talk to at these shows and for him to remember me was very impressive. I told him I was looking at getting a new carrier and the 2010 Hino with the SP8000 and 12 Series LCD from Chevron they built looked great, but I would want to change the color of the truck and add a few things. I had one major concern since I had never dealt with them before, what do I do if something goes wrong? Marty reassured me I could take it to any Miller dealer and it would be covered under the Miller warranty and in case there was something not covered by the warranty Idaho Wrecker would pay that dealer to do all the repairs. When he said that I became truly relaxed and comfortable to proceed with Idaho Wrecker, because how often does a company tell someone that’s not their customer we will pay whoever we have to, to make sure you are taken care of. Marty and I then exchanged a few emails and phone calls to get the truck built the way I wanted to. I informed Marty I would be flying from San Francisco to the airport and would then get a rental car to head over to them. Marty offered to pick me up & drop me off, which I found was very kind of him. As we all know when a truck is being built we are always telling the installer to change this or change that, but when I saw the truck for the first time I couldn’t believe the quality of work that was done. I looked hard for one thing I could have them change, but I couldn’t. They built the truck to make it operator friendly and I couldn’t change anything to make it better. Once they delivered the truck to me in San Francisco was the true test, my father who has been doing this for over 35 years. This guy can find the smallest flaw in anything and when he looked at the truck he walked around it a few times and I got what I’ve always wanted to here, the grunt of approval and silence. At this year’s show in Reno I saw Marty, Steve, Chuck and the rest of the crew from Idaho and I have to say it felt like a mini family reunion, these guys are so genuinely nice you can’t help but to feel part of their family and catch up with how they have been doing and what they are planning to do next."
